RTECH provided telecommunications and security design services for a new 500 vehicles parking garage at Walter Reed Medical Center. The garage primarily serve the Medical Facilities Development and overall need for parking across NSA Bethesda.

    SERVICES INCLUDED:

    • Provided a system of ductbanks, manholes, and handholes for site telecommunications and security between multiple existing buildings and the new telecom entrance facility at the new parking garage.
    • provided the design for all required fiber, copper cables to make the buildings functional and operable.
    • Provided the design for a smart parking guidance system, including I/out global car counting system, level by level car counting system and broadcasting available space counts to signs throughout.
