PENTAGON RESERVATION – VEHICULAR ACCESS CONTROL POINT

USACE BOUNDARY CHANNEL DRIVE VEHICULAR ACCESS CONTROL POINT (VACP) – After the events of 9/11/2001, the Pentagon instituted additional temporary force protection measures around the Reservation. This project will replace an existing VACP known as Boundary Channel Drive (BCD) Vehicular Access Control Point (VACP). The BCD VACP is primarily a vehicle and pedestrian ACP, serving employees, Pentagon Athletic Center (PAC) members, employees with North Parking Secure parking privileges, the Pentagon Police Department (PPD) Motor Pool, River Entrance, employees of other entities, selected deliveries, and visitors to the Pentagon and Pentagon Library Center 2 (PLC2).
