P-265 RDT&E HANGAR – RTECH provided telecommunications, security and audiovisual design services for the 80460 square feet new construction aircraft hangar at Patuxent River, Maryland. The new secure aircraft hangar with multiple bays will support the research, development, testing, and evaluation (RDT&E) of Unmanned Carrier Launched Aerial Surveillance Systems. The facility includes hanger floor area to accommodate three aircrafts, conference rooms, server room, telecom rooms, maintenance shops, Crew spaces, offices, storage areas and laboratories.

    RTECH SERVICES INCLUDED:

    • Telecommunications design consisted of Outside Plant (OSP), horizontal distribution systems, backbone distribution systems, telecommunications spaces (Telecommunications Rooms (TRs), Telecommunications Enclosures (TEs), Equipment Rooms (ERs) and Telecommunications Entrance Facilities (TEF)).
    • Security design consisted of  Electronic Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), Electronic Access Control System (ACS), Electronic Intrusion Detection System (IDS), monitoring and surveillance systems, communication and notification systems and site security.
    • Audiovisual design consisted of a wide variety of video and data monitoring, integrated video conferencing and collaboration, full switching and signal management, fully integrated audio, video, presentation and training system.
