RTech provided communication technology engineering and audio visual design services for a 24,000 sq. ft research facility in the City of Danville, Va. This included 14,500 sq. ft. of office and multi-media/distance learning space and a 9500 sq. ft vehicle research laboratory. The facility is used by Virginia Tech graduate school for research and distance learning

    RTECH SERVICES INCLUDED:

    • Communications Cabling and Network Engineering design services. Including horizontal and backbone wiring infrastructure for voice, data and video.
    • Audio/visual design services for Distance Learning Classroom and Multi-Media Presentation Rooms. Design included two-way live interactive instructional through High Definition (HD) videoconferencing and customized control systems for integration of voice, video and data presentation.
    • Developed construction documents for voice/data/video structured wiring and audio visual system.
