RTECH was selected to provide technology engineering services for the 200 million dollar Central Campus new construction project at Fort Lee, Virginia. The project consisted of approximately 950,000 square feet of instructional and training facilities similar to a higher educational facility in the private sector community, including classrooms, laboratories, administrative areas, training rooms, bay areas, conference rooms, auditoriums, etc.
RTECH SERVICES INCLUDED:

- Telecommunications – Distribution system for the voice, data video and CATV wiring which includes the design of twenty two (22) Telecommunications Rooms (TRs) and five (5) Telecommunications Entrance Facilities/Equipment Rooms (TEF/ER). Outside Plant (OSP) conduit pathways engineering for implementation of fiber optic and copper outside plant system.
- Network Engineering – A complete mesh node Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) throughout the facility, which includes transport systems and electronics, software and hardware.
- Audiovisual – Design services for classrooms, auditoriums, laboratories, etc.
- Security – Electronic Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), Electronic Access Control System (ACS), and Electronic Intrusion Detection System (IDS).
